Backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail - Tuolumne Meadows to Sonora Pass

A private residence in Glen Aulin.

Ready for adventure.
Following the man into the wilderness.

One of the many vistas we came across.

Spooky ramen.

Our own private beach at Smedberg Lake.
Happy campers.
Our surprisingly roomy tent.

Sometimes I felt like I was in the Shire.

Wall of trees.

Terrible switchbacks, awesome view.

The first official PCT sign we saw.

We got to Benson Lake just after sunset.

A horseshoe for good luck.

We camped out under this horseshoe on our fourth night.

Our amazing campsite just passed Wilma Lake.

Leaving Yosemite, on to Toiyabe.

What the hike looked like for the majority of our last 14 miles.

Finally, Sonora Pass! Time for a shower.
